Microsoft is King

It’s somewhat amusing when Apple users start to slam PC’s, so here’s an article just for them. Interesting read none the less but really they don’t take into consideration a bunch of other factors.

First thing people need to understand is that Apple computers are not really that much faster than PC computers. Some think it’s like comparing a Ferrari to a Volkswagen, but not too many people realize that if you put in better quality parts into that PC to bring it to an equal playing field that the Volkswagen actually becomes more like a Porsche. So if you want to compare speeds you also need to compare similar specs and the prices will be closer at this point to. You can actually build much stronger PC’s as well, taking that Porsche to hyper levels…

Next people need to really look at the numbers, Apple’s presence on the web from their computer to their mobile products only account for 11.7{463c70c279fb908728b910a090d44fbe4ae7aabcd875de9c1a518a8c8e2be8bd} while Windows accounts for around 80{463c70c279fb908728b910a090d44fbe4ae7aabcd875de9c1a518a8c8e2be8bd}. That’s a huge difference especially when it comes to the world of hacking. It only makes sense to write viruses that will run on a greater percentage of computers and so Microsoft still remains the biggest target, they might not be the most expensive company out there today but the numbers still say it’s clearly king and anyone watching Games Of Thrones knows everyone wants that top spot.

The last thing worth mentioning is Apple is tight lipped when it comes to defects or security flaws as mentioned in the article but they also have a tighter grip on what runs on them as well, from software to hardware. This is one of the reasons they’ve become the most expensive company out there as most accessories bear the Apple symbol on them and it ends up costing you for that simple fact. Sure you can save money with PC’s but most people don’t realize that the amount of software available also exceeds what’s available for an Apple computer, I’m actually referring to serious software and not these silly apps that people are creating, so that novelty farting app doesn’t count…

When it comes to computers, to each their own, is what I say. It seems like some have a brand loyalty that runs so deep that they get offended when someone says there’s a problem with a product. All products have their advantages and disadvantages, you can be as a loyal of a customer as they come but the numbers don’t lie and when 8/10 are running windows on a PC, stop and ask yourself why before just saying Apple makes a better product and I need a tablet…
