There used to be a time when one would imagine Tony Sopranos face when the words organized crime were mentioned but not to many years since The Sopranos have gone off the air and now the face of organized crime has become the Guy Fawkes mask best known from the film V for Vendetta or more recently the hacker group anonymous. No I’m not saying that anonymous is responsible for all the hacking that is going on but they are the most known and personally speaking I think the mask is pretty cool so let’s just go with it…
Today it’s becoming less and less common to hear about banks being robbed or pistol packing thieves getting away with mass amounts of money, alternately we continue to see article after article about breaches like Sony, JPMorgan, Target, Home Depot and the list goes on is costing the US 3.8 million a year or more. Consider the fact that the internet is global and add in other countries that are affected and this number increases considerably.
