CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is a style sheet language used for designing the look and formatting of a document made in any markup language; meaning that the programmer can change elements such as layout colour and font. Before CSS, programmers had to use HTML to do those customizations on their web page. Now with CSS programmers can draw from one style sheet on a file.
